  • Erica, 7 year old girl from the area who has a brain tumor.  Recent tests revealed that the tumor has shrunk to 50% of it’s original size!  They doubled her chemotherapy drug beginning yesterday.
  • Linda, who has had such a bad migraine headache -- for days -- that they even hospitalized her for two days, and they still don't know what exactly is causing her pain.  She's home now, but hasn't had much relief.

  • Karen, a parishioner who is having testing done. Prayers are requested that results will come back negative with no sign of cancer.
  • Prayers in thanksgiving that the thyroid biopsies were negative for Lori, who was on our prayer list earlier in the week.

  • Fred, a friend of a parishioner, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.  The treatment options are limited because of other complications.  He is devastated and in need of prayers.
  • Tod, the brother-in-law of a parishioner, who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease and will be undergoing chemotherapy treatment every two weeks for the next six months.  Prayers are requested that this treatment will lead to a cure.  Also pray for his wife, Barb, who suffers from Crohn’s disease, for the strength to endure this hardship.

  • Seneca Valley Chorus students, teachers and chaperones who are leaving early Friday morning for a trip to Toronto, Canada and returning on Monday evening. Prayers are requested for their trip to be filled with school spirit, friendship, and fun, a successful performance at competition and mostly for their safety as they leave the country.

  • Julie who is 7 years old. She will be having extensive scopes and tests done tomorrow and into the near future. Please pray for faith, comfort and strength for her and her family.  Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide her physicians and all caring for her to provide the best treatment and options available to help her.

  • A co-worker of a parishioner whose husband was in a serious car accident Tuesday evening and lost his leg.  He also has multiple other injuries.  He is stable but in a lot of pain. Please keep them both in prayer.
  • Lori, a parishioner, who had a thyroid biopsy. Prayers are requested that the results are benign.
  • Tim, a parishioner, who will be losing his job in the coming weeks. Prayers are requested for new employment and peace during this transition.
  • Paul, friend of a parishioner, undergoing surgery on May 1. Ask God to guide the surgeon’s hands for a successful surgery, and give Paul the strength for the recovery period ahead.

  • Wyatt, a three month old baby , having surgery April 30th.  Pray for the doctors and nurses taking care of him and for his parents that God will  wrap his loving arms around them and give them strength and a strong faith to get through these troublesome days.
  • Students taking final exams this week. Ask God to help them to draw on the knowledge that they gained during the year to complete their testing.

  • Clyde, the brother of a parishioner who has leukemia. He has been in the hospital and was to come home yesterday, but ran a fever and has a blood infection again.  He is very down and discouraged. He was doing well on Saturday had some energy. Tomorrow will be 7 months since the stem cell transplant. Please pray for a regaining of strength in mind and body.
  • Kayla who is 9 years old.  She has a tumor on her leg bone and the doctor thinks it probably is malignant.
  • A parishioner who has a job interview. Please pray that the interview goes well as this job would be a great benefit to his family.
  • Julie, a seven year old girl registered for Saint Kilian School for the 2008-2009 school year. She has been preliminarily diagnosed with a rare liver condition called sclerosing cholangitis.  It is an inflammation of the duct work in the liver and gallbladder which eventually will lead to getting on a transplant list. She is and will be undergoing many tests. Please keep her in prayer.

  • The men in our parish making a Cursillo Retreat this weekend.
  • Jill, a parishioner who was just diagnosed with MS. She began treatment that will continue weekly for her lifetime. Until her body adjusts to the medicine, she has been very sick following the treatment. Please pray that she will be able to deal with the side effects over the next months and pray for her husband and young children to give them strength.
  • Please pray for the healing and reconciliation of Jeremy and Ben.

  • Tracey, a relative of a parishioner, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer 2 weeks ago. Her doctors have already started her on chemotherapy. Please keep her in your prayers. She is the mother of 2 small children.

  • Anne, the neighbor of a parishioner who has been fighting cancer for the past 9 years, and despite dire predictions from her doctors, has defeated it every time. Her most recent battle is an aggressive cancer in her lungs, and she seems to be losing this time. Her doctors give her 6-8 months and all are praying that she'll come through it again, but Anne is getting tired. Please keep her in prayer.

  • Petra, from England, who is battling breast cancer and also has an 11 year old daughter with severe brain damage that needs care 24/7. 
  • Sam, the grandson of a parishioner's friend (also from England) who has been fighting cancer. After his last bone-marrow transplant and chemotherapy, nothing is showing up in his scan, but this has also happened before so everyone is cautiously optimistic about the cancer not returning.Please continue to keep him in your prayer.
  • Joe, a parishioner with cancer, who is meeting with an oncologist today to see if his chemotherapy treatments have had any effect on shrinking the cancer tumors.

  • Chuck,the brother-in-law of a parishioner who died suddenly of a massive heart attack.  May God grant strength and comfort to the grieving widow and family.
  • Prayers of Thanksgiving that the biopsy results for Meghan, an 11-year-old parishioner, are that tumor is benign. May she and her family have strength and fortitude in road to recovery in intense in-patient therapy.
  • Katie, a parishioner who is having a vascular mass removed from her forehead on Monday, April 21st.

  • Jeffrey the 49 year old brother of a parishioner who will be having open heart surgery.
  • Sidney, 14 month old granddaughter of parishioners who has been diagnosed with cancer.
  • Thelma Spurlock, mother of parishioner Dwayne Spurlock, who passed away last week. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
  • Monica, a parishioner who will be having surgery on Tuesday for cancer. This will be followed by radiation treatments and a year of chemotherapy.
  • Tim, a parishioner, who will be losing his job in the coming months.  Please pray that his job continues long enough to meet his family medical situations and that he finds a new job quickly that will be rewarding and less stressful.

  • Clyde the brother of a parishioner. His  kidneys are still not functioning well, it has been a week. They may need to put him on dialysis ( the hope is temporary). The toxins are building and he grows tired.
  • Thomas Campbell  Sr., the uncle of a parishioner who has died and also keep his family in prayer during this time of grieving.
  • Marie, the 93-year old mother of a parishioner. Marie is suffering congestive heart failure and was taken to the hospital yesterday. Please pray for her speedy recovery.
  • Julie, the daughter of parishioiners,  who will undergo a follow-up three month MRI on Monday on her brain tumor.  The family prays that it will continue to be stable and require no further chemotherapy.

  • Chad, the cousin of  a parishioner who  is in his mid-thirties.  He drives a moving truck and while making a delivery  accidentally struck and killed two construction workers. Please ask for prayers for him and his family that they may find the comfort of God amidst the heartache. Also please pray for the families of the two workers. 
  • Prayers of thanksgiving for the successful operation on removal of a brain tumor on Meghan,  an 11 year old parishioner.  Continued prayers for her and her family as she recovers and awaits the results of the biopsy, may she have a full recovery.

  • Meghan and her family. Meghan is an 11-year old parishioner who will be having surgery on a brain tumor on Friday, April 10. Pray God gives the doctors and all her care-takers wisdom, strength, and clarity to help Meghan.
  • Debbie, a parishioner who has been battling a very aggressive cancer. The cancer has returned and is now affecting the vertebrae in her back. She will have surgery this afternoon on her back in an effort to increase her mobility and strength and then follow up radiation treatments.

  • Kelsie, a young woman who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer.  Prayers for her and her family at this difficult time. May faith, friends and family help to bring them peace, strength and healing.  Prayers for her physicians that they  provide the best treatments and care for her needs.

  • Danielle, a seven-year-old from Butler, currently at Saint Jude's Hospital in TN undergoing a second brain surgery to remove and biopsy the return of a very rare brain tumor. May guidance, comfort, and healing help her and her family through this difficult time.
  • Mike (53), the brother-in-law of a parishioner's cousin who was just diagnosed with a rare brain disease that progresses quickly to dementia and can also cause debilitation in other areas of the body. He will be going to Johns Hopkins for further testing.
  • Tiffany, age 35, who is the niece of a parishioner's cousin who took her own life.
  • Veronica (92), the mother of a parishioner as she seems to be coming down with the flu and also for the continuous pains in her leg, knee, and back. Also as she lives alone in her home - for God's continued protection upon her.
  • Erica, seven years old and has a cancerous brain tumor. Please pray for the family and give them strength.
  • For God's will and guidance for a parishioner who continues to seek a new career direction.

April 2, 2008

  • Dale,Jr. a parishioner who is having surgery  Thursday, April 3rd for a melanoma on his leg.
  • Bob, a friend of a parishioner. Bob had heart surgery in December and has just not bounced back. He was taken to the hospital yesterday with bleeding in his lungs.
  • A friend of a parishoner who is 58 years old and lost his long term job. Please ask God to show his love and support to this man during this difficult time.
  • Monica, a parishioner who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The preliminary diagnosis is Stage 1 of Infiltrating Ductal Cancer and is the most common type, very treatable and curable. Please keep her in prayer in the days ahead as her plan of care is determined.
  • The 94 year old mother of a colleague of a parishioner whose health has failed. Pray for a peaceful passing and comfort to the family.

  • Tami, the sister-in-law of a parishioner who has been battling Lupus for several years. She is having some testing done today and the family asks for prayers for strength and good results from the test.
  • Bill and Pauline, parents of a parishioner, they both need extra strength at this time Bill has cancer and his wife Pauline is caring for him.
  • Tom, the cousin of a parishioner who has nine blood clots in his lungs, and possible pneumonia.

  • Clyde, the brother of a parishioner who has been on our prayer list. He is back in the hospital with a probable infection. He is also having problems keeping his blood pressure up when standing and has nausea and weakness. Prayers are requested for him, his family and the doctors - that they are able once again to solve this problem.

  • Sandy,who is a wife and mother of 2 daughters. She is in her late 40s.  She had a severe stroke in January and is still paralyzed and cannot speak.  Her rehab is progressing very slowly. 
  • Prayers of thanksgiving for a successful women's retreat this past weekend. All participants found relaxation, inspiration and interesting discussions.

  • Mary, the mother of a parishioner who is having episodes where she blacks out. She recently fell and cut her head badly.The doctors are not able to diagnose why she is having these black outs.  
  • She lives alone and the family is trying to make her realize that it is time for her to move into a better living situation. Please offer prayers for her healing, patience, and understanding, in the event that she will have to leave the home she has lived in for 50 years.
  • Dana, the neice of a parishioner who just found out that she is pregnant with twins. She is considered a high risk pregnancy because of her past medical history. Please pray for her health and a safe delivery of her babies.
  • Deanna, 13 year old friend of a parishioner, who was on our prayer list March 18th. She was found to have a tumor on her brain stem.  She will have a gamma knife radiation procedure with in the next week. It is a 4 to 5 hour treatment of powerful radiation directly on the tumor. She will have to have a helmet-type cast bolted to her skull. She has the option of being totally asleep or just sedated. The doctors want her to just be sedated, but Deanna wants to be out.  The doctors don't really know what the outcome will be, and won't know if it has really worked for up to a year after the procedure and maybe not even then.  Deanna doesn’t feel sick and is still going to school and playing volley ball.

  • Tonya and Richelle, that together they will find help for Richelle in her education as well as her well being with her every day difficult circumstances.

  • Monica, parishioner, who is having a biopsy on a lump in her breast on Monday.
  • The parents of a parishioner who are in their 80's. They live in an area that has seen much decline over the years, but don't wish to move at this point in their lives. Please pray for their safety and wisdom in future decisions about where they live.
  • Vera, a parishioner, who was just diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer.
  • The friend of a parishioner who was recently diagnosed with liver and colon cancer.
  • Marie, the 93 year old mother of a parishioner whose health and mental prowess have improved greatly. We've prayed for her in the past year. The family is grateful for the prayers and that God is granting her such peaceful days.
  • The women of Saint Kilian Parish who will be on retreat this weekend. Please pray that they are open to God's plans for them and that they experience a time of renewal and deepening of faith.

  • Prayers of thanksgiving for the niece of a parishioner, who had a difficult pregnancy. Her baby was born prematurely by c-section and thanks to God and all the prayers offered,  mother and daughter are now doing fine!

  • Christian, a young parishioner who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. There is no cure at this time, but there is hope. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
  • Thanksgiving for the prayers for Deana who delivered her twins at 28 weeks.  A little girl 2 pounds 1 ounce and a little boy 2 pounds 8 ounces.  They are doing well so far.

  • Gloria, the 86 year old mother of a parishioner, who lives in El Salvador and is being very obstinate and difficult to care for,as well as, exhibiting severe paranoia. Please pray that she understands that the efforts of her daughters and caretakers are in her best interest.

  • Micelle, a friend of a parishioner, who had an accident at her home yesterday, Good Friday, using her lawn tractor which she fell off and it flipped on top of her. She was lifelighted to AGH for a head injury. Her family needs prayers at this time.

  • Colin, a young parishioner who has been on our prayer list in the past. When he was 6 he had an operation to correct Legg-Perthes on his right hip. The same disease has been attacking his left hip for the past year or so, and now it does look as though surgery will be in his future. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as they face an uncertain future.
  • Our RCIA candidates as they approach their full initiation into the Catholic faith at the Easter Vigil. This year we will welcome 21 new members to our faith community....from ages 2 to 80+! Please keep them in prayer over these next days and in the weeks that follow, that they might continue to grow in faith and that they might find in our faith community true examples of loving discipleship.

  • David, who is the husband of a parishioners friend, who is awaiting tests to discover what is causing his neurological pain and symptoms.  He is faithful man, but is doubting his faith at the time due to the physical and mental stress he is going through. He is fearful for his family because he has a wife and two young children. Pray for healing both physically and mentally. May his physicians diagnose his condition so they can begin treatment to lesson his discomfort. Prayers for his family.
  • Louis, the father of a parishioner, and all the residents of his nursing facility - they have a quarantine in place for influenza B. (Which is the more fatal type of influenza).
  • An update on Lillian, (10 month old daughter of a parishioner's teacher) that was diagnosed with hydrocephalus which is a blockage in the brain causing a buildup of fluid.  She is scheduled for surgery on March 28 to have a shunt inserted to drain the fluid down her neck, across her chest and into her stomach.  Supposedly people can live normal lives if this works successfully.  Please continue to pray for her and her family.

  • Deanna, 13 year old friend of a parishioner, who had an MRI last week that was not good. It has been 2 years since she had surgery to remove a tumor on her brain stem, and they think her tumor is coming back. She will have a full body scan next, she has some options but they really don't know what the outcome will be.
  • Jerry, colleague of a parishioner who is extremely stressed by issues in his business, for peace and resolution to these problems.

  • The mother of a parishioner in end stage Alzheimers who is losing her ability to walk/stand. Her husband is the caregiver and needs strength to make decisions for her continued care.  Prayers needed for the husband to be able find solutions for her care and to accept help with her care as they enter this new stage in the progression of her disease.  Also prayers are requested for the physical and mental strength the family needs to handle this stressful time.

  • Lillian, a little girl who is suffering from hydrocephalus, which is a blockage in the brain causing a build up of brain fluid.  She is having an MRI on Friday to determine where and what the blockage is and how serious it is.  Please pray for her and her family.  (This is a daughter of a parishioner's teacher at SV).
  • Joan, friend of a parishioner, who has just been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, along with major depression and paranoia. She has had a lot of medical problems for the past several years, which is likely contributing to the depression. The family is still waiting for results of some other brain tests but so far they are normal.   Please also pray for her family who is very stressed by this situation.
  • Deana and her unborn twins.  After years of trying to have a baby she is pregnant with twins but was life-flighted to Pittsburgh yesterday because she went into labor and is not due until June 5th.
  • Dan, the father of a parishioner who was recently on our prayer list. He has been released from the hospital . They found that a vein had burst and put clips on it. It seems that everything is going well. Thanks to everyone for your continued prayers.

  • The uncle of a parishioner who passed away this week and will be buried on Saturday. Prayers also for his daughter and family at this time of loss.
  • Clyde, the brother of a parishioner who has been on our prayer list. Doctors voiced concern about his eyes, the swelling in his face and neck and the fact that he has these tremor episodes that no one seems to be able to identify. Please keep him in prayer as he is in the hospital while tests are being done to determine the cause.
  • Jeremy, the friend of a parishioner, who was born with a birth defect and had a cornea transplant when he was five weeks old.  He's now 16, and has been going through rejection for almost a year now.  The doctors always knew that the transplant would not last a lifetime.Right now though, because of the health of the eyes, he's not eligible for another transplant.  Best case scenario is that it heals enough to allow for another transplant, or a stem cell transplant from his sister, which is a riskier option.  Worst case scenario, of course, is blindness.  His mom is a lady of strong faith, and has passed that along to her son.  She says he's been preparing for the worst his whole life, and has already learned Braille. Please keep Jeremy and his family in your prayers.

  • For a parishioner's Sister who's 18 year old step son, Evan, was killed in a head-on collision with a Semi-Truck on Wednesday. Please keep her, Evan's father and Evan's brothers and sisters in your prayers.
  • A parishioners daughter and one month old baby that is having feeding/digestion problems. Please pray that the baby will gain weight and strength. Also pray that the mother will seek God for strength and find comfort through Him during this troublesome and tiresome time in her life.
  • Continued prayers requested for parishioner's friend who is battling breast cancer. She also has a severe bacterial infection and is also in significant back pain due to a herniated disc for which surgery is anticipated next week. She completed half of her chemo treatments and may not finish/need any more. Prayers requested for her and her two young children.

  • Joey, age 13, who was injured sled riding on Sunday and is in the hospital.
  • Brian, an adult, who is hospitalized after he broke his back sled riding with his children on Sunday.  
  • Bernard  uncle of a parishioner, who is currently hospitalized with a serious blood disease.
  • Ron, the brother-in-law of a parishioner who was hospitalized last weekend with a ruptured colon. Toxins have entered most of his organs and he is in critical care. He has shown some slight, but amazing improvement over the past days. The family asks for prayers for continued recovery. Also keep in your prayers his family, Linda his wife, and children John and Marcia.

  • Dennis, a friend of a parishioner, who broke his ankle. The break required surgery and several screws to repair.
  • Stella, a two month old baby.
An update on Clyde, the brother of a parishioner who had been on our prayer list. Clyde has been battling leukemia and a stroke. They recently performed a bone marrow biopsy and the results indicate the leukemia may be gone and that Clyde is in remission. They will begin to wean him off medications slowly and in six months, he will get another biopsy. Clyde is still without an immune system but he must wait a year to get immunization shots, measles, mumps, rebella, polio, etc. He wants to thank our Lord for his mercy and all of you for your prayers and love that you have shown in so many ways. Please continue to pray for Clyde as he still needs strength from the effects of the stroke and tumor and his eyesight is quite bad at this time.

  • Wray, who is dying of kidney failure. He is off dialysis and has only a few days to live.
  • The mother of a parishioner who was just diagnosed with breast cancer and she is having a lumpectomy on Monday, Feb. 18th. She has a great attitude and faith in God. The family asks for prayers that she stays strong.
  • Ann, the aunt of a parishioner in her 80's who was just diagnosed with shingles and is very sick.
  • Joe, a parishioner with pancreatic cancer. Joe will be having surgery on his liver on Wednesday. Prayers are requested that the procedure is successful and the recovery goes well. Also, prayers are requested for the surgeon and the medical staff doing the procedure.

  • Bill, brother-in-law of a parishioner. We have been praying for Bill for 2 years since he lost his sales job. He is nearly 63 and was just let go from a part-time retailer. Please pray that God will give him the wisdom and strength to carry him through these trying times.

  • A 16 year old girl who was recently diagnosed with bone cancer.  A year long treatment plan is on the agenda pending results of the biopsy and further testing on Monday to make sure everything else is clean. Right now it is in her tail bone and pelvis.

  • An update on Ron, who was wounded serving in the Navy 2 months ago. He's heading home this weekend.  He has another surgery coming up in a couple weeks, but he'll be home. Please keep him, Brandy (his wife) and their 4 kids in prayer.

  • Barb, a friend of a parishioner who is very ill.  Something triggered rheumatoid arthritis to suddenly attack her whole body--she is in a lot of pain and in a constant state of fatigue.  She had a virus, was hospitalized for 4 days and had lots of tests to determine what caused this. Please pray the doctors find the cause and come up with a cure. 

  • A friend of a parishioner, Rena, who is dealing with a failing heart, weak kidneys and liver.  Basically, it is her heart that is mostly failing and she most likely would not survive a heart transplant due to the condition of her other organs. She is only 33 years old.  Any prayers would be helpful!

Having prior arrests for drugs and alcohol offenses, Nancy recently took steps to have Max admitted to a rehab center. Please pray that God gives Nancy the strength to get through this very difficult period and for Max, that he returns to his Catholic faith and is able to turn his life around.

  • Lisa who was on our prayer list.  She had been life-flighted to Presbyterian Hospital with internal bleeding.  She had an operation to put a shunt in to alleviate pressure on her liver and she would like to thank everyone for their prayers.  She is doing well and recovering at home and please pray for her continued recovery.
  • This note was forwarded from a parent who is part of the  Rowan Elementary School PTA.    Mrs. Dawn Edelstein passed away Thursday night.  Her daughter Jaclyn was in Mr. Pournaras's class at Rowan Elementary.  Dawn was battling cancer but died unexpectedly from a blood clot.  Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.  Please also keep Mr. Pournaras's class in your prayers as this is the third parent death in that classroom this year.

  • Wendy, a young woman in her 30's, who has abnormal cells on her cervix. After a biopsy, the cells are not cancer, but are considered pre-cancerous. She is also 8 weeks pregnant, and the chances of miscarriage after the biopsy is greatly increased. Please pray that she can follow the doctor's advice for a healthy pregnancy, and that she may deliver a healthy baby.
  • A note of thanksgiving:
    Many, many, many thanks for prayers for Paula.  Paula was placed on the prayer list last week after suffering a stroke, being life-flighted to the hospital on Monday, and then having brain surgery on Wednesday.  This past Monday she was removed from any extra support and all meds were stopped.  Her family was given little to no hope as she was unresponsive after surgery.  They were going to let her go quietly.  Tuesday night, she began talking and as of last night she was talking to family on the phone and sitting up.  Today she will be moved to Harmarville to begin rehabilitation.  The doctors have no explanation for her recovery.

The other, Colin Michael, is in critical condition and only weighs 1#, 2oz. They have another child who was also a preemie, who is now 2 years old and has numerous health problems. Please pray for this family. This is a very difficult time for them.

  • Chuck and Lorraine, parents of a parishioner who are in their 80’s. Lorraine has heart disease and is now suffering from dementia. Chuck has been taking care of her, humbly doing tasks that he never did in life – cooking, laundry, etc. While he is able to take care of her now, our family is facing the issue of what to do about their future care. Chuck was hospitalized this past week with a viral by and is now doing fine (thank God), but his wife had a very hard time dealing with his absence and could not be alone while he was in the hospital. Arrangements are being made for them to live with one of their children. Please pray that Chuck opens his heart and mind to make the right decision about their future and that the family are given the wisdom to assist their parents in making this decision.
  • A friend of a parishioner, Ed, mid 50's who just lost his job, that he finds another one as his family's health care will end at the end of January.
  • Aubrey, a young parishioner who has been on our prayer list. Katie (her mom) and Aubrey will travel this week to Delaware for Aubrey's pre-op tests.They leave on Wednesday and return on Saturday. Also, thanksgiving that they heard this week that the insurance will cover Aubrey's out of state operation that will be on Jan. 29th.

Three times he was actually prepped and in the OR. In each of these cases the liver arrived and it was determined to not be viable. While he and his family feel positive about being so close so many times, all of this is a stress on the whole family.

  • Sandy and Bill, friends of a parishioner.  Sandy (age 60)  has had a virus attack her heart and lungs (only working about 30%). She is scheduled for surgery December 27.  May the surgery be successful.  And prayers that their children are all able to come home to PA for Christmas to be with their Mother and Dad one more time.
  • Brian, the son of parishioners, who is 17, to Please pray that his knee surgery on the 18th is successful. 
  • For the nephew of a parishioner who is having surgery today to remove a tumor from his spine.
  •  Mario, the father in law of a parishioner who has been in the hospital for over a week and is not improving.  He is also getting depressed because of his ailments. Prayers also for strength for his wife and family as they deal with his illness.
  • Ron, a friend of a parishioner.  He was recently deployed and was seriously wounded.  He and his wife had a baby just last month, the day before Ron was deployed, and have 3 other small children.  He underwent a 10 hour surgery that involved most of his upper body area, throat, neck, stomach and organs inside of it.   • In thanksgiving for the successful surgery for Clyde, the brother of a parishioner. The doctors were able to remove a tumor that was on his brain stem.  He is able to speak, and is completely oriented.  He still needs prayer as they ascertain the cause of the tumor and discern treatment. He is now by the grace of God 96 days post Stem Cell Transplant.
  • Sam, who was on our prayer chain awhile back. He is the grandson of a parishioner's friend from England. He is suffering from Burkitt lymphoma and was doing better - - but his tumor is back and bigger than before.  Sam is 16 and has been going through such awful chemotherapy and radiation.   • Garrett, the little boy we have been praying for.  The doctors at Children's and the doctor they flew in could not complete the surgery.  His vascular system is too entangled in his artery system and they think he would bleed to death if they tie off the veins so they sent him home because they don't know how to help him.  They are sending his information to another doctor in hopes he will know what to do.  This little boy truly needs a miracle to survive.......please continue to pray for him and his family.

  • Garrett, the 10 year old who has been on our prayer list.  His surgery had to be postponed and was Thursday....they were only able to complete part of it and have to bring someone else in because the doctors at Children's were not sure how to proceed.  He is being kept unconscious until they can decide. It is a very serious situation for him.

  • Ed (67), brother-in-law of a parishioner,  who has been fighting the liver tumors - he has worsened over the last few weeks and things are not looking good. Continued prayers for healing, comfort, and peace.  And for his wife Angie, for continued strength and peace.
  • Charles P. age 62, friend of a parishioner  who died suddenly on November 1. Please ask God to provide strength and comfort to his wife Nancy and the entire family.
  • The father of a parishioner who is a prostrate cancer surviver of nine years.  At his last check up, his psa was up and had experienced urinary problems.  He will be undergoing a CAT scan next week to see what is happening.  He is in his mid 80's.
