Women's Bible Study

Saint Kilian Parish offers a weekly Wednesday morning bible study for women from 9:30am to 11:00am in the Parish Hall in Mars. The group is currently currently Catholicsm" by Robert E. Barron and all are welcome!

Thursday Morning Men's Group

Beginning in November, join Fr. Bober the second Thursday of each month for fellowship and sharing from 6 am to 7 am. All men of the parish are welcome to join us as we explore the lives of Biblical men. We will dive deeper into their struggles and battles that tell their story of triumph with God and how they can help us become men after God’s Heart. Please join us on Thursday, November 9 from 6 – 7 am in the Church Lower Level. Jr. SKY

Jr. SKY (Saint Kilian Youth) is a place for students in Grades 5 - 8 and their friends to play, worship, serve, work and just enjoy healthy friendships all for the love of Jesus. Jr. SKY meets twice a month, from September through June on Saturday evenings after the 5:30pm Mass. Additional activities and excursions also take place througout the year.

Losing a loved one is very often a devastating and life changing event. If you have experienced the death of a loved one, Saint Kilian Parish invites you to be part of a thirteen week program that offers support, conversation, and comfort. GriefShare is here to help you through this difficult time in your life. GriefShare meets weekly from August 22, 2017 through November 21, 2017 on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm in Meeting Room C in the lower level of Saint Kilian Church. Sessions include videos, presentations and discussion on a various topics. While each session offers valuable information, you do not have to attend every session and may attend as your schedule permits.

High School Summer Mission Trip Deposit Due

High schoolers and incoming freshman for the 2018/19 school year please join us on our 2018 summer mission trip in conjunction with the Catholic Heart Workcamp to the North Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind in Morganton, NC. Jr. SKY Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Box Project

Every Thanksgiving and Christmas Jr. SKY asks for your help in collecting items for our holiday food boxes. Food boxes are given out to parish families and individuals in need who would not be able to afford a meal for the holidays. We can’t meet the need without your help! Boxes will be delivered to families by Saint Vincent dePaul. Visit the website below to sign up to donate items. High School Fall Retreat

The Fall Retreat is a weekend geared toward teens in high school, grades 9-12. The videos, music, speakers, topics, scenery, & schedule are all designed to help you take the next step in your faith. Our goal is to offer you the truth, give you opportunities to encounter the Living God, and provide time for you to talk about it with your friends. If you have never been on The Fall Retreat, you are in for a great experience!

SKY: Make a Difference Day

Would you like to make a difference in someone’s life while earning service hours? We will be helping individuals and families in our area with yard work, etc. We will also make and take meals to be shared with the families. Volunteers are needed for outdoor work and for kitchen duty.

Angel Tree Tags on Trees at Saint Kilian Parish

Each year our parish undertakes a project to help make Christmas special for those in need. Last year, we donated over 1,500 gifts to individual parishioners and families as well as several institutions and agencies. The project begins with obtaining lists of possible gifts from institutions and agencies, our own food pantry clients, and those in nursing facilities. All of the gift suggestions are placed on cards that are hung on Angel Trees tags/ornaments will be hung on the trees in the Church and Parish Center the weekends of November 18 –19 and 25–26. Parishioners are asked to return the cards attached to the gifts by the December 3. The gifts are sorted according to their destination and are either prepared for delivery or pick-up.

"Sounds of the Season" - A Free Christmas Concert

Please join us for a free Christmas Concert performed by the Saint Kilian Parish Music Ministry. Our Adult Choir, Childrens Choir and Bell Choir will be joined by soloists and instrumentalists as a narrator tells the Christmas Story. This concert is free to all. A good will offering will be taken to benefit Saint Vincent dePaul Charities.

Family Advent Day

On the 3rd Sunday of Advent, families are invited to come to the parish hall and create a "Christ Candle" for Christmas. The Christ Candle can be placed in the center of the Advent Wreath, or can stand alone. It is intended to be lit on Christmas Day and the Christmas season days that follow. Candles, beads, ribbon, and religious stickers will be provided. Light refreshments will be served and families can participate in a fun, interactive activity highlighting John the Baptist. There is no cost for this event. Reservations for this event are encouraged. Those without a reservation will be accommodated on a first-to-come, first-to-be-served basis, if supplies allow. No guarantees without a reservation. To reserve your supplies, RSVP no later than December 10th. After this date, walk-in status only.

Surviving Divorce

Our next session will run Wednesday evenings from January 3, 2018 through March 28. All classes are held in Meeting Room C in the lower level of the parish church from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Sessions include videos, presentations and discussion on a various topics. While each session offers valuable information, you do not have to attend every session and may attend as your schedule permits. There is no cost for attending this program; however, pre-registration is requested so sufficient materials are available.

Silver Ring Thing (Grades 7 - 12)

Love, dating and relationships: This 2-hour stage performance incorporates high energy music, videos, skits, special effects, and comedy delivered in a concert-style approach that teens can respond and relate to. The program also proclaims the grace-filled message of the Gospel, going way beyond a call to abstinence to full life in Christ! An optional parent session will take place at the same time (ticket also required). Discount tickets are available online for parents and teens, event tickets are $5 each in advance or $8 at the door. For your convenience, Saint Kilian will be providing round trip bus transportation from Saint Kilian. The bus will leave the parking lot at 5:30pm. Tickets with transportation included are $15. SKPS will celebrate all week with Masses and other fun activities for students, families, parishioners and community members.
