The Junior and Senior Book Clubs are comprised of students from the 4th through 8th grade. Throughout the year, students read and discuss books from a variety of genres.

A few of the books most recently read are Escape: Children of Holocaust by Allan Zullo, Sasquatch Escape by Suzanne Selfurs, and The Haunting of Gabriel Ashe by Dan Poblocki.

In May of each year, both clubs participate in the English Festival, which is sponsored by the Western Pennsylvania Council of English Teachers. Students have an opportunity to share their love and knowledge of pre-assigned books, meet students from various schools throughout the area and the Diocese, and engage in good, clean competition.
