SKY: Sepulcher Kilian Youth

SKY Middle School Youth Group

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20

Welcome Middle Schoolers and Friends!
You are invited to join in our youth ministry activities through SKY (formerly EDGE and SKY). "SKY" stands for "Sepulcher and Kilian Youth" after our grouping parishes, Holy Sepulcher and Saint Kilian. All middle schoolers, whether you go to Saint Kilian Parish, Holy Sepulcher Parish, another parish, or no church at all are wanted and welcomed!

*Please note: Events at Holy Sepulcher are open to Grades 6 - 8. Events at Saint Kilian are open to Grades 5 - 8.

We Work, We Play, We Eat, We Pray, We Serve Others!
Come hungry! We begin each evening with a simple meal before moving into planned activities. All of our events are centered on respect for others, love of God and learning what He has in mind for US! Please see the weekly parish bulletin for exact meeting and event dates - friends are always welcome!

We Worship!
Families are strongly encouraged to attend Mass together before bringing youth to SKY. Family participation in following up with what happens during ministry is vital to helping our youth grow in relationship with Jesus. THANK YOU for bringing your youth to SKY!

We Need Caring Adults!
Adult and/or High Schoolers are crucial to this ministry. The youth need to see a variety of adults and a variety of people of faith. If you are interested in working with these amazing, energetic, and faith-filled youth as part of our CORE team, please contact Jo Scheller for volunteering with Saint Kilian location nights and Joni Mulvaney or Steve Hartle for volunteering with Holy Sepulcher location nights. Help needed includes set up/clean up, food preparation, welcoming youth, small group discussion, activity leadership and just being present as a role model! The MOST important way adults will help is by being present as a loving influence who listens and relates to their lives.
